CFA Institute Research Challenge 2020

Four members of Finance Club UniPi, Ira Sarantidi, Konstantinos Aikaterinis, Despoina Damaskou, and Tzouanas Philip compose the team of the University of Piraeus that was distinguished as second in the annual CFA Institute Research Challenge 2021 competition among 9 Greek Universities.

The group, after an analysis of the dairy industry KRI-KRI, prepared a detailed financial report, documenting its investment proposal for a position to buy, sell or hold the share. Also, the members of the team presented their findings and defended their proposal in front of the jury of the competition, consisting of professionals in the field of investment and finance in Greece.

Our team did exceptionally well and deservedly defended the historic participation of Finance Club UniPi in the competition, as well as the two consecutive victories of the University of Piraeus. This performance can only be an incentive for the younger members of the Club who are now taking the baton. Congratulations!
