“Student Day - Early Career Planning”
On Friday, March 15, 2019, the first Student Day was organized at the University of Piraeus, by Get Involved in collaboration with Finance Club UniPi with the following main axes:
-Early career planning
-Student opportunities while in University
At the meeting, Companies, Institutes and NGOs were represented, informing the students about their activities, the requirements and the required characteristics needed in the modern labor market were presented, while at the same time the students were informed about the steps of Early Career Planning.
The main goal of the event was for the students to get in touch with distinguished professionals in the field and realize the importance of planning the steps for their career, in the wider financial sector. They will achieve this through their participation in organizations that are active and addressed to the university, which can offer them opportunities for training and first contact with the workplace as this will benefit their experience and resume.
